Discover Kakabeka Falls

Kakabeka Falls drops into a gorge west of Thunder Bay. Boardwalks near the top of the falls provide views of the river and surrounding rock, while park trails offer a longer visit. The Kaministiquia River also connects the site to the history of voyageur travel. This makes a focused waterfall stop or part of a wider trip around Thunder Bay and the Lake Superior region.

What to explore

  • Waterfall and gorge views
